GETTING TO THE VENUE

✈️ One option is to fly directly into BOD.
🚆 Take the train to Bordeaux.
Train from Paris: We have done this and it’s quite easy; you’ll need to Uber or taxi from either airport to the Montparnasse station if you’re flying in. You can buy tickets online ahead of time, so all you need to do is arrive at the train station and scan in at the platform.

🚗 Option 1: Rent a car in Bordeaux and drive to Libourne, which is about a 1 hour drive. This is an excellent option if you want to explore the area on your own time, or if you hope to attend the other events at the Chateau.
🚆 Option 2: You can take the train from Bordeaux to Libourne if you do not plan on renting a car for your stay. The train ride from Bordeaux to Libourne is ~30 minutes.
💒 The venue is ~10 minute drive from Libourne.
🚕 If you’re not renting a car, you will need to coordinate a taxi or carpool with other wedding guests to & from the venue if you wish to attend the brunch.
We will provide transportation to & from the Hotel Mercure in Libourne for the Welcome Dinner and Wedding Day. For more details, click here.
There will not be transportation for the brunch on the 30th.
ACCOMODATIONS
Our recommendation is to stay at one of the below hotels in Libourne or in an Airbnb nearby to the Mercure, especially if you’re going to need transportation to and from the venue.

There are many Airbnbs, Chateaus, and BnBs to choose from in the area if you don’t wish to stay in Libourne, but please note that you will need a car if you select this option.
